Iatropolis Medical Group has been a pioneer in the field of Imaging since 1986. Then, in the medical centre of Chalandri, we installed the first MRI scanner in Greece, revolutionizing the field of Imaging and offering an innovative method, related to the diagnosis of diseases without the use of X-ray or ion radiation. For 36 years now, Iatropolis has continued to evolve with continuous upgrades of its equipment, excellent training of the medical and other staff and reliability of results based on the extensive experience and expertise of our Group in the field of Imaging.
A total of 17 MRI Scanners operate in all our medical centres with an extremely wide range of clinical applications. Response to previous treatment can be diagnosed and evaluated even at a very early stage of its application.

Magnetom Vida 3T
The medical centres of Iatropolis Medical Group adopt the technology of the future today with Biometric technology, which is currently applied to 3T Magnetic Tomography examinations.
From 1986 to today we have introduced 10 different latest generation Magnetic Tomography models in Greece, which were all first and only when they were installed. The MAGNETOM VIDA 3T comes to be the crowning glory of the already 17 MRI complexes that Iatropolis Medical Group has in the prefecture of Attica.
Taking into account biometric data for each patient: anatomy and physiology, MAGNETOM VIDA 3T automatically adapts to the individualized needs of each patient.
Through biometric sensors, the patient's breathing rate is detected, helping the radiologist to implement the most specialized examination protocol in a significantly shorter time (up to 30% reduction) compared to that of conventional MRI scanners. With an average duration of routine examinations in less than 10'-15' (spine, brain, ankle), greater comfort during the examination, due to design, (multi-channel coils 64, 60 and the only breast coil with 18 channels for 2D and 3D images) with significantly reduced noise compared to other systems on the market we offer a comfortable, but at the same time reliable examination.
Obstacles such as: metal implants, angiography examinations in patients who cannot be given contrast are not considered as restrictions anymore. When the examination protocol does not require it, the scans are carried out with the head outside the machine.
Scans for patients with arrhythmia, overweight, whole-body examinations for study and treatment planning of oncological patients, multiple myeloma, or in the context of preventive control, are carried out in just a few minutes with great ease.
